P.E.T Usage

p.e.t attack abuse and pet sab

The P.E.T can be used to gain a shield advantage offensively and defensively.

Offensively : (Situation) You are out of range and they are chasing you
—Spam your hotkeys (In this example 1 and 2) so your pet attacks them with
X4 and RSBs to take down some of their shield. While also not letting them shield regen.

Defensively: (You MUST have shields on your pet for this to work)
Simply click on your pet and SAB him/her/it.  OR you can SAB your
opponents pet. (WARNING) you must be fast with your hands in order
to do this because you must be able to lock the enemy again and
resume combat.

There are also counters to such tactics. Here they are: 

• If the enemy is out of range and is hitting you with their pet, put your pet on kamikazi and spam your hotkeys as well. This will send your pet to chase the opponent and hit him so his shields also don’t charge.

• 

• Another thing you can do is just SAB his pet for some shields 🙂

KEEP IN MIND THAT YOUR OPPONENT MAY ALSO SAB HIS PET. IT IS BETTER TO SAB HIS PET AS WELL SO THAT HIS PET IS LEFT WITHOUT SHIELDS FIRST.

KAMIKAZI

Here will be how to use kamikazi properly and all of its technicalities.

Ever since Ring formation was implemented to Darkorbit, Kamikazi has been
 a very important part of 1v1s.
It is CRUCIAL to master kamikazi (as well as other things) in order to become
one of the best fighters.

First off, NEVER start a fight with your pet on kamikazi. 
(Reason) Any good player will not allow this kamikazi to hit them unless 
you have iced them. It is also not a good idea to ice and Kami in the
 beginning of the fight. You can do it and it works but its not the most 
efficient way of fighting.

Kamikazi and slow downs

• Kamikazi WILL always hit if it’s activated before or within the time that your opponent hits a SLOW DOWN MINE.
• Kamikazi will ONLY hit an opponent that has been hit with a DCR if and ONLY if they are on their slow config or they don’t have enough speed generators.
